For those who have visited us before, we're glad to see you again! For our new friends, we're glad you're here with us and hope you enjoy your visit.

Our goal is to promote sites and ideas that rescue animals. In this difficult economic time, many pet owners have had to give up their pets to an animal shelter because they can no longer afford to care for them. Now, more than ever before, these shelters and rescues need as much financial help as we can give them. Even if you can spare only $5, please consider donating some money to them.

(From http://www.wolfrun.org:)

Wolf Run Wildlife Refuge and Educational Facility, Inc. began its lifesaving efforts in 1993. The facility, located in Nicholasville, KY, was enacted to help innocent animals find a world that was safe, free from abuse and a permanent sanctuary for those that could not be released back into the wild. Wolf Run has grown into a state and USDA licensed educational facility that houses Kentucky native wildlife as well as African lions to South American cougars, from Wolves and Coyotes to native Whitetail deer. Wolf Run Wildlife Refuge works to offer each of them an existence that closely mimics their natural habitats.

Wolf Run Wildlife Refuge also rescues homeless, abused, neglected, abandoned, unwanted, and senior dogs and other pets along with other domestic and farm animals in hopes of healing them physically and emotionally then finding quality homes for them to reside in.

Wolf Run Wildlife Refuge relies heavily on the generous support of the public to fund their operations. Please visit their donations page. Even the smallest donation helps them to help animals in need.
